  6. This gadget used to be named editor.gadget,
  7. released in the archive EditorGadget1.0.lha.
  8.  
  9. The textfield class allows you create an area on
  10. your screen for text entry.  The class supports a
  11. number of features including unlimited or limited
  12. text entry, specifying the font to use, specifying
  13. the colors for different parts (text, background,
  14. and lines), two types of borders (with option to
  15. invert the borders for a total of 4 types of
  16. borders) or no border, text left/center/right
  17. alignment, vertical centering, and other options.

  19. This version fixes some bugs:
  20.  
  21. - TEXTFIELD_Text works correctly now
  22. - The name has changed from editor.gadget to
  23.   textfield.gadget
  24. - The text pen is now TEXTPEN, not SHADOWPEN
  25. - Undo buffer now clears after use
  26. - Highlighting text is simpler: click and drag
  27. - Expunge memory leak fixed
  28. - TEXTFIELD_CursorPos now scrolls to position if
  29.   needed
